Summary

Description
English: "Rattail Falls" (Thaliyar Falls) is clearly visible from the Madurai Ghat Road going up to Kodaikanal, Palni Mountains, an outshoot of the Western Ghats. It is possible to hike to the top of the Falls, starting from Mooliyar, but a guide would be recommended for the first time. About a 6 or 7 hour hike there and back or down to the dam on the plains.
