English: Photograph of Sewa Singh Thikriwala, leader of the Punjab Riyasti Praja Mandal. Sardar Sewa Singh Thikriwala was a leader of the Praja Mandal movement in Punjab. He was born on August 24, 1886 at the famous village Thikriwala of the Malwa region situated on the outskirts of Barnala City. He died in jail while he was on a hunger strike in 1935. This photograph must have been taken before 1936 as Sewa Singh died in 1935. His name can alt. spelt be spelt as 'Seva'. Further reading: [1]; [2]; [3]
