Caspian tiger (Panthera tigris virgata), a.k.a. Persian tiger (Berlin Zoo, 1899, from the Caucasus)[1]

The Caspian Tiger (or Persian tiger) (Panthera tigris virgata) was found in Iran, Afghanistan,

West Armenia(actually in Turkey republic), Mongolia, and the Central Asiatic area of Russia. This subspecies of tigers, one of the largest in size, may have become extinct by 1999.
