Summary

DescriptionOpenSpeaks-Nepali bhasha.wav
English: Pronunciation of "Nepali bhasha" ("नेपाली भाषा", meaning Nepali language) in Nepali, as said by Uday Raj Aaley, a fluent second-language (L2) speaker. This snippet is derived from a longer video recording in which he interviews Kaliprasad Raji, a Raji-language speaker for the OpenSpeaks Archives. The original video was recorded in Bardiya district, Nepal, where Raji introduces himself in the Raji language and discusses how his language is used every day. He was interviewed on the 25th February, 2026, in his home in Nepal. The interview was subtitled in Nepali at the location by Aaley, based on a verbatim Nepali translation by Raji.
