News From Mathrubhumi കൊണ്ടോട്ടി: പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഊരകം തിരുവര്‍ച്ചനാംകുന്ന്‌ (തിരുവോണംമല) കയറ്റം ഇന്ന്‌. 2500 വര്‍ഷത്തോളം പഴക്കമുണ്ടെന്ന്‌ വിശ്വസിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലേക്ക്‌ ചെങ്കുത്തായ കയറ്റംകയറി വ്യാഴാഴ്‌ച ആയിരങ്ങളെത്തും. മലയുടെ മുകളില്‍ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ശങ്കരനാരായണ സ്വാമി, ആദിശാസ്‌താവ്‌ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളില്‍ ദര്‍ശനം നടത്തുന്നത്‌ കുടുംബക്ഷേമം, സന്താനലബ്ധ്‌ധി, രോഗപ്രതിരോധം, ദാമ്പത്യ സൗഖ്യം എന്നിവ പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുമെന്നാണ്‌ വിശ്വാസം. ജില്ലയിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയരംകൂടിയ മലയാണ്‌ തിരുവര്‍ച്ചനാംകുന്ന്‌. ചുറ്റുപാടും മലകളാല്‍ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ട്‌ കിടക്കുന്ന ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ചുവരുകള്‍ കരിങ്കല്ലില്‍ കൊത്തിയുണ്ടാക്കിയതാണ്‌. മറ്റു ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളില്‍നിന്ന്‌ വ്യത്യസ്‌തമായി പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ട്‌ മുഖമായാണ്‌ തിരുവര്‍ച്ചനാംകുന്ന്‌ ക്ഷേത്രം. കോഴിക്കോട്‌ - മലപ്പുറം റോഡില്‍ കോളനി റോഡില്‍നിന്നും വേങ്ങര - മലപ്പുറം റോഡില്‍ പൂളാപ്പീസില്‍നിന്നും ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെത്താം. |
