Description	The latest photo uploaded here is in connection with Onam celebrations (September, 2014) in Neyyattinkara town, Kerala State, India. The Neyyattinkara Area Committee of Kerala State Vyapari Vyavasayi Samithi conducted Neyyar Mela (Neyyar Fest) between 28th August 2014 and 15th September 2014 as part of Onam– Kerala State’s national festival, enriched with myriad art and cultural activities. The fest became a shopping destination for the Neyattinkara natives. To commemorate the father of Malayalam cinema, J C Daniel, the organisers of Mela (fest) rebuilt a JC Daniel Square. The square at the Municipal Ground was inaugurated by renowned novelist Vinu Abraham. The cultural parade that threw light to the rich and envious tradition of Neyyattinkara was the biggest attraction of the fest. Enticing both children and adults the fest had a few robot animals, which moved and talked entertaining the onlookers. During the 19 days’ festival time in NTA town, the roads in the town were illuminated in different colours and the buildings and trees along the Railway Overbridge » KSRTC Stand, TB Junction » Govt. Hospital Junction and Ooruttukala » Allummoodu stretch were lit up and a variety of traditional and cultural programs were held in Municipal Ground and in the town.
Source	I got this photo from Neyyar Mela (Fest) in connection with Onam celebrations in Municipal Stadium, Neyyattinkara town, Trivandrum district, Kerala State, India. This photo was taken on my friend's Canon EOS 6D camera on 8th September, 2014. (I owe my heartfelt thanks to Mukundan Photos, Neyyattinkara.) After taking the photo, it has been edited.
