English: Mughal Troops Chase the Armies of Da'ud (1574-1575)
After the capture of Patna, Akbar had returned to Delhi and entrusted Munʿim Khan with the further conquest of Bengal. Da'ud had fled to Odisha . However, having received news of the fatigue of the opposing troops, he ventured a powerful offensive on 3 March 1575 at Tukaroi, which lies about 40 km south of Medinipur. This detached folio is one of the few with the original text on the back. – Right half of a double-page composition with 147.
