Summary

Description
English: Making of pilliyar idol for vinayagar chathurthi, at kusapet. Kusapet is well-known for making huge statues for Ganesh Chathurthi Festive. Residents of Kuspaet are basically potter, hence its also called Kuyavar Pettai. Ganesha statues of different sizes are made here from a month or two before the festival.
