Français : le kangri (ou kangid ou kangir) est un pot de terre cuite, entouré d'une attache en osier. Il est rempli de braises chaudes et utilisé par les Cachemiris sous leur phéran de vêtements traditionnels (au niveau de l'abdomen ou entre les jambes) pour garder le froid à distance. Certains sont considérés comme des œuvres d'art. Ce moyen de se réchauffer est depuis longtemps la cause d'un nombre anormalement élevé de cancers de la peau, très inhabituels, situés au niveau des cuisses et/ou de l’abdomen (source : E. F.
