English: Newly constructed Indian Navy Talwar class (modified Russian Krivak III class) frigate INS Trikand (F51) off Southsea Castle while entering Portsmouth Naval Base, UK, 12 July 2013, on an Indian-bound delivery voyage from the Baltiysky Zavod shipyard in St Petersburg, Russia. INS Trikand) is the last frigate of her class ordered from a Russian shipyard. The successor frigate class to the Talwars is the Shivalik class, and these are being built at Mazagon Dock.
