English: The Gargaj group is a group of Jain and Hindu temples ruins to the north of Thubon village.

The ruins of the mandapika-style Jain temple have many Tirthankara iconography, establishing that it is definitely a Jain temple. The lalatabimba has a seated Jina, flanked by two standing Jinas. Its sanctum and auspicious signs are lost, so it is unclear to which Tirthankara it was dedicated. This Jain temple includes Navgrahas on its lintel between the Jinas, as well as mithuna (amorous couple) scenes in its artwork elsewhere, something uncommon. This may reflect that this complex had a shared Jain-Hindu origin.

The other temples in the Gargaj group are mandapika-style shrines dedicated to Vishnu. The Hindu artwork that has survived includes Vishnu on his Garuda vahana, Brahma, Shiva, Surya, Ganesha, Ganga and Yamuna.

This group has a large ruin pile on a platform with remains of a temple on top. Near one of the mandapika temple is a large Vishnu statue with sankha in his left hand and gada in another. It is damaged, was deliberately beheaded at some point in its history. It original location is unclear.
