Description
English: From source, Photograph of the Adinatha Temple at Timba, taken by Henry Cousens in the 1880s or the 1890s. Timba is located in Northern Gujarat. In the 'List of Antiquarian Remains in the Bombay Presidency' of 1897, Cousens gives this description of the monuments at Timba, "The Taranga temples [are] on the top of a hill surrounded by other peaks. They are seven storeys high and are temples of Adinathaji and Sambhunathaji built of white sandstone and brick. These temples are said to have been built in the reign of Kumarapala of Pattan 700 years ago."
