العربية: أقدم علم معروف للموحدين، يظهر في Libro de Conoscimiento de Todos los Reynos. من المفترض أن يكون هذا العلم قد استعمل من طرف الحكام الموحديين في القرن 11-13. العلم أحمر يحتوي 64 مربعا للوحة شطرنج متموضعة في وسط العلم. المربع الأعلى على اليسار من لوحة الشطرنج أبيض.

English: The oldest known flag of Almohads, is shown in the Libro de Conoscimiento de Todos los Reynos (an online version is available here, see page 26). This flag is supposed to have been used by the rulers in Almohads in XI-XIIIth century. The flag is red with a 64-square chessboard placed in the middle of the flag. The upper left square of the chessboard is white.

Español: La bandera más antigua conocida de Almohade, se muestra en el Libro de Conoscimiento de Todos los Reynos (una versión en línea está disponible aquí , ver página 26). Se supone que esta bandera fue utilizada por los gobernantes de Almohade en el siglo XI-XIII. La bandera es roja con un tablero de ajedrez de 64 cuadrados colocado en el medio de la bandera.
