Reason for the nomination:
Much as it hurts me to nominate it, I cannot see this passing the URAA thing. The book was published in India in 1938, when the copyright law of 1914 applied (life of author plus fifty years). The author (Hussain Ahmad Madani) died in 1957, so the starting point would be 1 January 1958. Although India passed a new copyright law in 1957, it was not retroactive, so the book did not enter the public domain until 2008. There is no evidence the book was in "compliance with US formalities or republication in the US". By my limited understanding of the Cornell chart, it falls into the category of "[published] 1931 through 1977". On 1 January 1996, it was still under copyright and would seem to be in the "95 years after publication date" category i.e. 2033. I've uploaded a local copy on English Wikipedia at File:Composite Nationalism and Islam.jpg.
