English: Series of pictures of tadpoles (common toad - Bufo bufo). The pictures show the last two weeks of larva development ending with metamorphosis. They have been taken in the second half of May in southern Germany near Regensburg. The picture of course DOES contain a scale bar to indicate the size of the tadpoles. One picture also contains a Euro Cent coin because it was just the cutest picture of the toad! Deutsch: Bilderserie von Kaulquappen der Erdkröte (Bufo bufo). Die Bilder zeigen die letzten zwei Wochen der Larvenentwicklung, die mit der Metamorphose zum Landtier endet. Sie wurden in der zweiten Maihälfte in Süddeutschland in der Nähe von Regensburg aufgenommen. Das Bild enthält natürlich einen Größenstandard. Das Bild mit der Erdkröte auf der Euro-Centmünze wurde verwendet, weil es einfach das schönste nach der Metamorphose war. |
