  • According to Bivar (1969), and Livshits (1969) the seal should be date to the 4th century CE and should read p.167-168:

(1) 'yt mydrh cwn ’yn/ztmyc This seal is from (of) Indamic* (2) (p) ’nbsn z ’ ’ntyh (or zc ’ntyh, n ’cztyh) Queen of Zacanta"

  • According to Livshits (2000, Sogdian Sanak, a Manichaean Bishop p.48):

The seal should be dated to the 5th-6th century CE
The Sogdian text reads: (1) 'yt myôrh cwn 'yntwmyc (2) ρ'ηβέη n'ntyh ("This gem is from Nandi, Indian Lady")

  • Hephthalite attribution according to AYDOGDY KURBANOV (2010, THE HEPHTHALITES: ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND HISTORICAL ANALYSIS p.69):
"There are also a number of other seals, which seem to be closely linked with this class" (of Hephthalite seals)
