Summary

Description
English: Title page of Bhagavad Gita 1787 French re-translation of the English translation by Charles Wilkins in 1785. This was the first French re-translation of the Gita published. The translator was Abbe J.P. Parraud. The image is the photograph of a two-dimensional artwork and text published in 1787 of a personal copy of the book. Wikimedia commons licensing guidelines for pre-1923 PD-Art applies.
