தமிழ்: தென்காசி பாண்டியர்களில் முதல் மன்னனான சடையவர்மன் பராக்கிரம பாண்டியன். தன்னால் தென்காசி பெரிய கோவிலை கட்டி முடிக்க இயலாது என்றறிந்தவுடன் இக்கோயிலுக்கு வரும் பக்தர்களும் அதற்கு உதவ வேண்டும் என்று எண்ணம் கொண்டார். அதன்படி இங்கு வரும் பக்தர்கள் அனைவரின் காணிக்கையையும் ஏற்று அவர்களின் பாதம் பற்றி வணங்குவேன் என்று தான் கொடுத்த வாக்கை காப்பாற்றுவதற்காக தன் உருவத்தை கோயிலின் வாசலிலேயே பதித்துக் கொண்டார் சடைவர்மன் பராக்கிரம பாண்டியன். |
