This work was first published in Azerbaijan and is now in the public domain because its copyright protection has expired by virtue of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Copyright and Related Rights, enacted 1996, amended 2008. The work meets one of the following criteria:
  • It is an anonymous work, pseudonymous or a collective work and 70 years have passed since the date of its publication
  • It is another kind of work, and 70 years have passed since the year of death of the author (or last-surviving author)
  • It is a a posthumous work, published at first time during 30 years and 70 years have passed since the date of its publication
The Article 25.3 (amendment) was added in 2008: “Duration of protection determined by this Law shall be applied to all works of which term of protection has not expired until this Law enters into force”.
