Personal life and EducationEdit

Advocate Anik was born in a small village in the Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. He is the son of the late Abdul Jalil and the late Nanda, who later converted to Islam and was renamed Shanaz Parvin alias Anwara. Tragically, Anik's mother passed away in 1986, just two years after his birth, and his father also passed away shortly thereafter. Raised in a dual-faith environment, Anik grew up experiencing both Muslim and Hindu cultures, which has fostered a deep understanding and respect for both religions.

In 1999, Advocate Anik relocated from West Bengal to Bangalore. He completed his 10th grade in 2001 and went on to finish his Pre-University Course (PUC) in 2003. Anik then embarked on a 5-year LL.B. program at Bangalore University, graduating in 2008. Pursuing further education, he specialized in Business Law - Corporate Law for his LL.M. at University Law College (ULC), affiliated with Bangalore University, and completed the 2-year full-time course in 2010. Anik excelled in his LL.M. studies, achieving 2nd rank with First Class distinction. He remains a lifetime alumnus of ULC.

Following his graduation, Anik was admitted to the Bar Council of Karnataka in 2010 and has been practicing law ever since. His legal career has involved representing clients in various capacities before courts, law enforcement agencies, and other organizations.

On October 5, 2014, Anik married Ayantika Mondal in Bangalore. Ayantika, who also pursued an LL.B. and shares a strong academic background, is a distinguished lawyer in her own right. CareerEdit

Advocate Anik began his career in 2006, providing administrative support to a law firm in Malleswaram until 2008. During this period, he co-founded and managed Legal Troubleshooting with his partner Ayantika Mondal. The firm specialized in property title verifications and navigating various data protection laws. Simultaneously, he worked as a part-time lecturer at the School of Business.

In 2010, Advocate Anik joined Deshraj and PC Reddy Chambers in Gandhi Nagar, Bangalore, a law firm established in 1984. He worked there until July 2012 before transitioning to a new role at Dell India Pvt Ltd as a Legal Associate.

In 2009, he co-founded Prime Legal with Ayantika Mondal, and the firm officially commenced operations in 2010. Advocate Anik played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding Prime Legal's footprint.

From 2015 to 2019, Advocate Anik served as Associate Director at ANI Technologies Pvt Ltd, known for its flagship brand Ola Cabs, as well as group companies like Foodpanda.com, Ola Feet, and Ola Money. In this role, he oversaw legal affairs and law enforcement across the associated companies.

He actively participates in discussions with various agencies. He has been actively supporting numerous NGOs and has been awarded for his contributions.
