A permastub is a very short Bharatpedia article that is unlikely ever to be expanded beyond a sentence or two, because everything important about its subject can already be said in that space, or because almost nothing more is known about it.
Permastubs are different from ordinary stubs, which are short only because nobody has expanded them yet. A permastub may still be worth keeping if its subject meets the notability criteria; if it does not, it can be proposed for merging or deletion like any other article.
