B. V. Desai (Desai Bhimsain Rao) is an Indian politician and Member of Parliament in 7th Lok Sabha (1980) and 8th Lok Sabha (1984) from Raichur (Lok Sabha constituency) in Karnataka State.[1][2][3][4] He was also member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly (First Assembly - 1957).[5]

B. V. Desai was born in Hunsihal Village, Raichur District. Venkatrao Desai was his father. He completed his education from Osmania University, Nagpur University and Allahabad University.[6][7]
Personal life[edit]
B. V. Desai was married to Smt. Vijaya Devi Desai. The couple had four sons and two daughters.
He was Lawyer, Industrialist and Agriculturist by profession.[6][8]
