The India cricket team are scheduled to play against the Afghanistan cricket team in September 2026, competing in three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.[1][2] The series forms part of Afghanistan's multi-format bilateral cycle in India, with Afghanistan designated as the official host team for the T20I leg, even though all matches are scheduled to take place at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in New Delhi.[3][4]
