ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ଜଣେ ପୁରୀ ଦେବତା ଓ ବୁଦ୍ଧ ରୂପରେ ପୂଜା ପାଇଥାନ୍ତି । ପ୍ରାୟ ଏକ ସହସ୍ରାବ୍ଦୀ ଧରି ବର୍ଷର ବାର ମାସରୁ ଏଗାର ମାସ ହିନ୍ଦୁ ଦେବତା ବିଷ୍ଣୁ ରୂପରେ ଓ ଏକ ମାସ ଛଦ୍ମ ଭାବେ ବୁଦ୍ଧ ରୂପରେ ଶ୍ରୀ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ପୂଜା ପାଇ ଆସୁଛନ୍ତି । ତେବେ ଶ୍ରୀ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥଙ୍କୁ ଜାତି, ଧର୍ମ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନିର୍ବିଶେଷରେ ସମସ୍ତେ ପୂଜା କରିବା ଦେଖାଯାଏ । ଏହି ଛବିଟି ବେଙ୍ଗାଳୁରୁର ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ପୂଜିତ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ, ବଳଭଦ୍ର, ସୁଭଦ୍ରା ଓ ସୁଦର୍ଶନଙ୍କ ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ବେଳର ।
