Ramnagar Bunny is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Srinivas Mahath.[1] The film stars Chandrahass, Vismaya Sri, Richa Joshi, Ambika Vani and Ritu Manthra. It was produced by Malayaja Prabhakar and ETV Prabhakar under Sri Sumanohara Productions.[2]
Plot[edit | edit source]
The film follows Bunny, a young man whose relationships and irresponsible behaviour create difficulties for his family. His actions eventually lead him to reconsider his priorities and take responsibility.

The film was written and directed by Srinivas Mahath and produced by Malayaja Prabhakar and Prabhakar Podakandla under the banner of Sri Sumanohara Productions.[3] Ashwin Hemanth composed the music, while Ashkar Ali handled the cinematography.[4] Al Akmar Saify and Sudhanshu Mishra were the associate casting directors, with Saify casting Ambika Vani as Naina.[5] Marthand K. Venkatesh edited the film, and Divija Prabhakar presented it.[6]
Release[edit | edit source]
Ramnagar Bunny was released in theatres on 4 October 2024.[7] Its digital streaming rights were acquired by Aha, where it premiered on 17 January 2025.[8]
Reception[edit | edit source]
The film received mixed reviews from critics. Samayam Telugu rated the film 3 out of 5, while noting its youthful entertainment value.[9] Asianet News Telugu and Sakshi also published reviews of the film following its theatrical release, discussing the story, performances and Chandrahass's debut.[10][11] The Hans India described it as a promising debut for Chandrahass, while BigTVLive rated the film 2 out of 5 and described it as a routine youthful entertainer, criticising its formulaic treatment and some performances.[12][13]

The music was composed by Ashwin Hemanth. The soundtrack includes the song "Naa Manase", released on 28 September 2024.[14]
