Goats in southern Israel.

The Israeli goat, Domesticated Black Mamber Goat, or the Syrian Goat (Capra hircus mambrica) is a domesticated species of goat-antelope typically kept as livestock. It was domesticated from the wild goat (C. aegagrus) of Southwest Asia and Eastern Europe. Within the Zionist Jewish entity of Israel (Judean Republic) it is the designate State animal of the Zion Nationalist Jewish State[n 1].
