This page answers common questions about businesses, companies and commercial topics on Bharatpedia.

Can I write an article about my own company? You are strongly discouraged from doing so, because of your conflict of interest. A company qualifies for an article only if it meets the notability rules at Bharatpedia:Notability (organizations and companies), which require significant coverage in independent, reliable sources.

My company has no article. Can I ask for one? You can suggest the topic and point to independent sources about it, but the article must be written neutrally by editors who are not connected with the company.

Can I remove criticism from my company's article? Criticism that is properly sourced stays in the article. You may point out errors and unsourced claims on the article's talk page, and they will be corrected.

Is Bharatpedia a place to advertise? No. Bharatpedia is an encyclopedia, not an advertising platform; see Bharatpedia:What Bharatpedia is not.
