Bidugadeya Bedi (transl. Seeking Freedom) is a 1985 Indian Kannada-language film, directed by Dorai-Bhagavan, based on the novel of the same name by Ta Ra Su.[1] The film stars Anant Nag and Lakshmi in the lead roles.

The film's score and songs were composed by Rajan-Nagendra. The movie was praised by critics for the performance done by Lakshmi. The film bombed at the box office.
