JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) was established in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, in the year 2011. The curriculum and pedagogy of the university emphasises experiential learning through projects. The University is sponsored by the JK Organisation, an Indian industrial conglomerate with a 125-year history of philanthropy and nation building.

Academics

The university provides various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees.^[2] It has two well-established institutes, IET (Institute of Engineering & Technology) ^[2] and IM (Institute of Management),^[2] and ID (Institute of Design).^[2]
