Chali Cheemalu

Chali Cheemalu (Telugu: చలి చీమలు) is a 1978 Telugu film directed by Devadas Kanakala. Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao, elder of the Paruchuri Brothers entered the Telugu cinema field as writer.^[1] Novel of Manta Venkata Ramana Rao was developed into a full-length movie by their writing skills.^[2] Nutan Prasad’s performance was the highlight in this movie. His catch phrase nootokka jillaala andagaadni was very popular in the public.

The film won Nandi Award for Best Feature Film from Government of Andhra Pradesh in 1978.
