Poovum Pottum (transl. Flower and Vermilion) is 1968 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Dada Mirasi and produced by Vasu Menon.[1] The film's dialogue was written by Aarur Doss and the story was written by Nihar Ranjan Gupta, respectively. Music was by R. Govarthanam. It stars P. Bhanumathi, S. V. Ranga Rao, A. V. M. Rajan and Nagesh, with Bharathi, Jyothi Lakshmi, R. Muthuraman and Pandari Bai in supporting roles. This film was a remake of the Hindi film Nai Roshni.[2]

Soundtrack
Music was by R. Govarthanam and lyrics were written by A. Maruthakasi, Kannadasan and Vaali.[3] The song "Nathaswara Osaiyile Devan" is set in Brindabani Sarang raga.[4]
