Dharmavaram railway station (station code:DMM[1]) is the primary railway station serving Dharmavaram, Anantapur district. It is one of the major train junctions in Andhra Pradesh. The station comes under the jurisdiction of Guntakal division of South Coast Railways.[2] The station has five platforms. The station is situated at junction of four lines branching towards Gooty, Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam, Penukonda and Pakala.
Originating trains
At present two services originates from this station, the Vijayawada – Dharmavaram Express.[3] and Dharmavaram-Machilipatnam/Narasapur Express (via Tirupati, Vijayawada Jn., Gudiwada Jn., Bhimavaram Jn.)
