Every editor also has a user talk page: the talk page that belongs to their user page. This is where other editors leave messages for you personally, such as questions, suggestions, thanks and notices.

You can open yours by clicking your username at the top of any page and then the "Talk" tab, or by going to Special:MyTalk. When someone edits your talk page, you will see a notice about it at the top of the page next time you browse Bharatpedia, so you do not have to keep checking it yourself.

To reply to a message, click the "[edit]" link beside its section heading, add your reply underneath the message, and sign it with ~~~~. Starting your lines with a colon (:) indents them, which makes conversations easier to follow.

Help requests work the same way. If you put the {{Help me}} template on your own talk page, a helper will answer you in the same section, right under your question.

User talk pages are public, so write there as politely as you would anywhere else on Bharatpedia. When your talk page gets long, old finished discussions can be moved to an archive page so that new messages stay easy to find.
