How to enable this tool

This tool runs on the Citation generator engine. If the box above is stuck on "Loading the tool...", the engine is switched off. Follow these 3 easy steps to turn it on:

Step 1: Click this link to open your settings: Open Gadget Settings

Step 2: Find "Generate a citation from any URL, it auto-detects web, book, journal or news source." in the list and tick the checkbox next to it.

Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the settings page and click the blue Save button. Then come back here and refresh this page. The tool will appear!

Note: The Bare reference fixer itself needs no setup and loads automatically for all logged-in users. Only its engine (the Citation generator gadget) needs enabling.
