Jadav is a caste present in Madhya Pradesh , Bihar , Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh , Gujarat , Rajasthan.^[1]

The Jadav belong to Rajput lineage , and thus to kshatriya in the traditional varna ritual ranking system.^[1]
