The majority of commercial cultivars belong to Mangifera indica, while a select few commercial varieties cultivated in Southeast Asia originate from other Mangifera species. Southeast Asia, India, Australia, the United States, and certain African countries cultivate locally selected varieties, whereas most other nations grow cultivars developed in Florida.[1]
