Justice for Jeni is a 2026 Indian Tamil-language drama thriller film written and directed by Santhosh Ryan and produced by Syed Thameen under the banner Asna Creations.[1] The film stars Ashika Asokan and Sandhra Anil in the lead roles, with Hareesh Peradi, Nizhalgal Ravi, Rekha, Sinan, Aishwarya KS and Bittu Thomas Mappillassery in supporting roles.[2] It was released theatrically on 2 January 2026.[3]
Plot
Jeni and Priyanka are close friends and medical students. Their lives are shattered when Jeni becomes the victim of a violent crime. Determined to obtain justice for her friend, Priyanka pursues a legal battle while confronting institutional obstacles in her search for truth and accountability.

Production
The film was written and directed by Santhosh Ryan and produced by Syed Thameen under the banner Asna Creations.[4] Masood TP and Saravanan served as executive producers.[5]
Veeramani handled the cinematography, while Sandeep Nandhakumar served as editor.[6]
Music
The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by Goutham Vincent.[7]
The promotional singles released for the film include "Kanavugalum Ninaivugalil" and "En Thozhiye".[8]
Release
The audio launch and trailer release event was held prior to the film's theatrical release.[9] The official trailer was released in December 2025.[10] The film was released theatrically on 2 January 2026.[11] Prior to its release, the film received an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification.[12]
Reception
Maalai Malar gave the film a positive review, praising the performances, courtroom drama, and socially relevant theme. The review also commended Santhosh Ryan's direction for presenting the subject in an engaging manner, while highlighting the cinematography and background score as strengths of the film.[13]
