Praveen Kumar is an Indian Wushu athlete. He won the gold medal at the 2019 World Wushu Championships in Shanghai, China in the men's Sanda 48 kg category. He became first Indian to win gold medal at Wushu World Championships.[1][2][3]
He won a silver medal at the 2016 Taiwan Asian Championships in the men's Sanda 48 kg category.[4] Praveen Kumar won a silver medal in the junior nationals in 2014 and a gold medal at the senior nationals in 2015.[5] He is currently serving in the Indian Army.[6]
