Dipika Gupta is an Canadian fashion designer and alumnus of Toronto’s George Brown. She is the creative director and founder of KAVI KAVI, a contemporary womenswear brand, renowned for decadent and hand embroidered modern ready-to-wear pieces.[1]

Early life and career

Gupta was born in Zambia to Sudha Gupta and spent her early life in India before moving to Ottawa. She studied accounting and economics at the University of Toronto and fashion designing at George Brown College.[2] Gupta learned sewing from her mother and sold her first paid of pants at the age of 12 year and after completing their formal education she founded Kavi Kavi a Toronto based fashion design company along with her twin sister and older sibling in 2003.[3]
