Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi (born 2 May 1977)[1] is an Indian young politician and a member of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party. He got his MCA degree from Bharathidasan University in April 2001. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi comes from a powerful and vibrant political family in the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party.He was the son of former Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) MLA Anbil Poyyamozhi and grandson of former Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) minister Anbil P. Dharmalingam and his uncle Anbil Periyasamy also a politician from the DMK party. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, popularly known as Mahesh, is an undeterred man. Clad in white and white, with a DMK flag-colored shawl draped around his neck.He was close confidante friend of DMK Youth Wing Secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin. He was elected as a member of Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from Thiruverumbur constituency in 2016.[2][3][4][5]
