K. R. Periyakaruppan is the former minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments in Tamil Nadu state of India. He was born in Aralikkottai on 30 December 1959. He belongs to the Yadav community. He has finished his bachelor's degree in Commerce and Law.[1] He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly from Tirupattur constituency in 2006 election as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate.[2]
