Ayathan Alok Chand born in renowned Ayathan family at Calicut. He is an author, apothecary and philanthropist who wrote the first authoritative biography of Dr. Rao Sahib Ayathan Gopalan, a renowned renaissance leader and social reformer from Kerala, A prominent renaissance leader from Malabar who is the founder of the Sugunavardhini-Brahmasamajam movement's in Kerala.
