Plot[edit]

The story follows Brigadier Baldev Pratap Singh, nicknamed "Jaat," who is traveling by train from Chennai to Ayodhya. The journey is interrupted when the train halts at a village in Chirala due to an accident ahead. Stepping off the train to grab a meal, Jaat finds himself embroiled in a conflict with Ranatunga, also known as Muthuvel Karikalan, a former Deputy Commander of the Jaffna Tiger Force (JTF). Ranatunga exerts control over the village, terrorizing its residents with the complicity of local police. As Jaat learns about the villagers' plight, he decides to take action. A fierce battle ensues between him and Ranatunga/Muthuvel Karikalan. Ultimately, Jaat triumphs, defeating Ranatunga and restoring peace and order to the troubled village.
