The Interior Secretary of Pakistan (Urdu: ‎معتمدِ داخلہ پاکستان‎, romanized: मोतमद-ए-दाखिला पाकिस्तान Mōtamada-ē-dākhilā Pākistāna) serves as the federal secretary for the Ministry of Interior. Responsible for overseeing the nation's law and order framework, this role is considered one of the most prestigious and sensitive within the Government of Pakistan. The individual in this position is typically a BPS-22 grade officer, often from the Pakistan Administrative Service. Key organisations under the purview of the Interior Secretary include the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports (I&P), as well as the paramilitary forces such as the Frontier Constabulary (FC) and Pakistan Rangers. Additionally, the administration of the Islamabad Capital Territory falls under the Interior Secretary's jurisdiction, with the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad reporting directly to them.
