Mikaela Madison Rosberg, professionally known as Mikey Madison, is an American actress born on March 25, 1999. She began her career by acting in short films and gained recognition for portraying a moody teenager in the FX comedy series Better Things, which aired from 2016 to 2022. Madison's filmography includes her role as Susan Atkins in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) and Amber Freeman in Scream (2022). Her performance in Sean Baker’s film Anora (2024), where she played the lead role of a sex worker, brought her significant acclaim, culminating in her winning the Academy Award for Best Actress and the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

Early Life[edit]

Born in Los Angeles, on March 25, 1999, Mikaela Madison Rosberg comes from a family of psychologists and has two brothers—one of whom is her twin—and two sisters. She identifies as Jewish. Madison spent her early childhood in Santa Clarita before her family relocated to Woodland Hills in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. Initially, she trained as a competitive horseback rider but shifted her focus to acting at the age of 14. After completing the seventh grade, she was homeschooled. As of October 2024, Madison resides in Los Angeles and follows a vegan lifestyle.
