Jamal Uddin Ahmed (1954/55 – 27 January 2021) was former MLA of Badarpur constituency of Assam. He was three times MLA from this constituency of Karimganj District.[1] During his third tenure, he died on 27th January 2021.[2] After his death no by election was held in the constituency. [3]. In 2001, we was first elected as an MLA. That time, he contested as an All India Trinamool Congress candidate.
