Sikka Port

Sikka Port & Terminals (STPL) is a captive port infrastructure to RIL’s Jamnagar complex in Sikka, Gujarat, [1] comprising 10 captive jetties that are licensed to operate by the Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) on a BOMT (Build, Operate, Maintain and Transfer) basis. The name of port prior to 2018 was Reliance Ports and Terminals Ltd.[2]

Facilities

It is situated in the proximity of Reliance Industries’ (RIL) refinery complex for shipping oil. Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited has a Sikka based factory which is spread over 780 acres of land at Moti Khavdi village. The units were originally designed for DAP but have the flexibility to produce other products.At the Sikka complex, GSFC produces DAP from merchant-grade phosphoric acid and ammonia.[3]

Capacity

Annually 1,384 vessels were handled at the port facilities of the Company with over 113 million tonnes of crude, petroleum and petrochemical products.[4]
