List of anime distributed in India

Anime popularity is growing in India. From 2004 to 2017, Animax India used to broadcast only anime 24/7, the channel kept airing anime targeted towards young adults to adult audiences and used to simulcast anime on the same day as Japan. Later Animax India ceased broadcasting in India. Other channels such as Cartoon Network, Sonic, nick, Hungama TV, Disney channel and Marvel HQ (formerly Disney XD and Jetix) also broadcasts some form of anime on different times.[1][2]

Anime can also be viewed on Muse Asia and Ani-One Asia YouTube channel as well as streaming platforms such as bilibili, Crunchyroll, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney + Hotstar, NHK World-Japan, Voot Kids and Tubi.
