Rahul Munjariya (born 21 September 1985) is a music director and singer from Gujarati cinema. He is known for his works in Shu Thayu?, Order Order Out of Order, Sonu Tane Mara Par Bharoso Nai Ke, Raado[1] and Hoon Tari Heer.[2]

Rahul is also known for his music composition of the song "Pardesiya "[3] with Geetaben Rabari which got massive hit. The song was highly acclaimed by critics as well as audiences.

Early life

Rahul was born on 21 September 1985 at Halenda, Rajkot, Gujarat. Rahul did his schooling from Jivan Sadhna at Rajkot. He graduated from Gujarat College at Ahmedabad Rahul started learning music at the age of five. At the age of 10, he started working as music arranger and then debuted as music director with film called Suhagan Shobhe Sasariye in 2013. After that, he composed for Vishwasghat which got released in 2014. Later he composed songs and background scores for Gujarat government and commercials.

In 2012, he married Priyanka Trivedi, a fashion designer.

Career

Rahul got recognistion of his work from the film Romance Complicated directed by Dhwani Gautam. The film was released in January 2016, and music has been appreciated by viewers. Later he worked with film, Tuu To Gayo which also directed by Dhwani Gautam. In 2019 he came up with Order Order Out of Order which also directed by Dhwani Gautam where Rahul introduced KK (singer) to theGujarati Cinema [4] Later in 2022 he introduced Daler Mehndi [5] and Altaf Raja [6] in Sonu Tane Mara Par Bharoso Nai Ke. Krishnadev Yagnik worked with him in Shu Thayu? & Raado where film's background score and music carried out by him. Later on Rahul brought Sairam Dave in mainstream Gujarati Cinema with the film Hoon Tari Heer.[7] Rahul believe the music composer needs to be understand the process of film making, which gives the best ability to industry.[8] Dhwani Gautam and Rahul Mujariya is coming back together with their upcoming Dyro and Subhsaanj.[9] Rahul has also got massive hit on recently launched Namu Hanuman song with Om Baraiya which sung by Jigardan Gadhavi and Devraj Gadhvi.[10][11]
