Buddha Mahalakshmi Naidu was a Landlord,Inamdar and Munsif of Anakapalle Town.[1] He got the title Rao-saheb from British for his services to the public.

Political life[edit | edit source]
Buddha Mahalakshmi Naidu, a large landowner from Anakapalli and was elected as a member of the Visakhapatnam Board on 1 March 1922. Venkatapati Raju Pusapati as president and Sitaramaraju.B as vice-presidents, both elected on 28 March 1922. He was also Munsif and Inamdar and he was elected Municipal Councilor of Anakapalli on 27 May 1921.[1]
